So recently I have started making more MASON JAR MEALS. They are super easy to make, last a lot longer than traditional salads and are handy for everyone to grab and eat or grab and go.
**NOTE : Greens can be anything you want them to be. Spinach, Bok Choy, Romaine, Green Leaf, Red Leaf, or whatever you prefer for your “lettuce.”
Here is an Asian Salad. From bottom to top.

Spicy Quinoa Salad, Beet Salad, Asian Salad, Orange-Pecan Salad
& Mexi-Mango Salad
(recipes listed below)
Ingredients are listed below for the 5 salads. But you can put just about anything into these salads and they are delicious. Just keep in mind, that the greens need to be on top, away from any other “wet” ingredients. Enjoy!

What do you like in your MASON JAR MEALS?
Ok, I understand but do they take them to school like that? She it easy to pull out onto a plate? I love the idea.
No, these are usually for lunches at home or to take to a friend/relatives home. Yes, you just dump the whole thing out onto a plate when you are ready to eat.
Can you give the recipe for the asian dressing? Meaning – how much of each ingredient?
It is all personal preference. I would start with a Tablespoon of each and then taste it. If it too oily, then add more aminos, or if it seems too salty, add more oil. It really depends on what you prefer on your salad. My hubbie likes his with more oil, and I like mine with more aminos. The kids don't really have a preference. Hope that helps. 😉
